How a rental goes, step by step

    Find it, then ask

    Search the shop or browse by category. Message the owner if you have a question, then request your dates, from one day up to 90.

    Before your first rental, Arkila verifies your ID once: the front, the back and a selfie.

    Get the owner’s OK

    The owner approves or declines. Nothing is paid yet, and either of you can cancel for free until you pay.

    Once approved, the dates are yours. Overlapping requests are declined automatically.

    Pay, and Arkila checks it

    Pay with one of the options on your rental, like GCash or bank transfer, and upload the proof. The total is the rent, a ₱50 service fee and the owner’s refundable deposit.

    A person on the Arkila team verifies every payment before anything changes hands.

    Meet at a safe zone

    Pick it up at the safe zone named on the listing, a public spot on campus. Check the item, then the owner taps Hand over and your rental starts.

    Every listing names its safe zone, so you always know where the handoff happens.

  5. 05

    Return it, get your deposit back

    Give it back by your end date. When the owner marks it returned, Arkila sends your deposit back and you can rate the owner.

    Running late? Arkila flags the rental the day after it’s due and tells you both.
